How great are Volvo cars? That is the question that Gulliver Theis answered in this recent campaign which he shot for Volvo Switzerland with Spillmann Felser Leo Burnett Zurich.
In the three ads, the viewer is introduced to several conceits. The first, depicting the universal childhood tale of Little Red Riding Hood, focuses on the inherent safety of a Volvo. Instead of using a model / created wolf, this wolf was actually cast for, enabling a variety of poses and expressions. The sccond, based in the desert, reflects the fuel economy of the line. The last is a homage to prize-winning design, certainly appropriate enough for the recently completed Fashion Week in New York.
Everything was shot within the span of two weeks in Cape Town, South Africa, a frequent winter destination for European photographers due to its weather, charm, and reasonable costs of production.

For BRANSCH artist Steffen Jagenburg, it is always a magical moment when sound and motion add to the feel of his imagery. It is like giving life your own expressions.
It is a beautiful, welcome challenge to cover content in two different visual ways: still and motion. Steffen's numerous clients look for that - someone to use the same language in film and photography, combined with Steffen's great aesthetic sensibility and attitude.
BRANSCH artist Sven Schrader introduces his new showreel. It containes footage of several movie projects that he produced over the last two years. It shows his diverse work for advertising, music videos and private short films. As multifaceted with his motion as he is with his still photography, Sven's aesthetic informs both.
