christo, jeanne-claude and bach

Frieke Janssens, BRANSCH's very own Belgian photographer, recently completed these two images.

Klara, a Belgian classical radio station that exposes children to classical music, and its agency, LG&F Brussels, was the impetus for a lively, relevant Herr Bach. He was created using a model who bore a striking resemblance to historical representations of the famed composer. For the final image, the model was added to an existing painting of Bach.

Channelling Christo and Jeanne-Claude for a brand new agency, Troy, and their client, Region de Bruxelles-Capitale, she shot a real house and interposed it with a wrapped model shot in studio with the same angle and warm light as the actual location. The concept was based on giving one's house a facelift. Frieke chose to shoot with film with an aim to be inspired by the colors of polaroids shot at the scene. With the recent news, she is sure to stock up!

Showreel by Steffen Jagenburg

For BRANSCH artist Steffen Jagenburg, it is always a magical moment when sound and motion add to the feel of his imagery. It is like giving life your own expressions.
It is a beautiful, welcome challenge to cover content in two different visual ways: still and motion. Steffen's numerous clients look for that - someone to use the same language in film and photography, combined with Steffen's great aesthetic sensibility and attitude.
