THE ART OF FOOD PREPARATION BY AORTA

This particular series is BRANSCH artists AORTA’s personal project dealing with the gadgets that one might use in the kitchen – an ongoing exploration of the ways one prepares food.

This was a chance to go back to basics, and see how much can be done with a thoughtfully placed light, positioning the angle of light in a way that brings out the texture and tonality of the food, the wrinkles of the fabric, the chips in the edge of the pedestal, etc.
